The law firm of  Holzworth & Kato, PC is a continuation of a law practice that began in 1998 when Yoshihiro Kato became a member of Lepon Holzworth & Kato, PLLC.  Holzworth & Kato, PC represents foreign and domestic clients on a broad array of legal issues arising from international trade, with a notable emphasis on trade associations.  Since 1985, David Holzworth served as general counsel to the Chilean Fresh Fruit Association (ASOEX) for legal matters in the United States, and has represented  many companies involved in the importation of fresh fruit to North America.   Mr. Kato serves as principal legal counsel to the Japan Semiconductor Industry Association and the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Association (JEITA), a trade association that includes all of the major Japanese electronics companies. Mr. Holzworth retired from the practice of law in 2022.
